Minutes of the Roland City Council

Special Session

Tuesday April 28, 2020

The Roland City Council met in special session on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. The meeting was held at 3:00 pm at the Roland Community Center and shared remotely via Zoom with Mayor Andy Webb presiding. Council members present at roll call, all via Zoom:, Jerry Balmer, Russ Neely, and Kailah Schmitz. Absent: Riley Larson. Also present were City Clerk Jodi Meredith, no public via Zoom. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic which made the in-person meeting impractical the meeting was held through a video conferencing for the public and council members.

It was moved by Balmer and seconded by Neely to approve the Agenda. All in favor, motion carried.

Public Input: None.

A motion was made by Neely and seconded by Schmitz to approve Resolution 20-13: Resolution To Approve Agreement For City Bridge Federal-Aid SWAP Funding Project No, BRM-SWAP-6597(604)-SD-85. Agreement No: 1-20-HBP-SWAP-003. Aye: Balmer, Neely, Schmitz. Nay: none. Absent: Larson Motion carried.

Mayor/Council Comments: Mayor Webb stated he had been asked about opening parks for casual sports visa organized sports, will follow the states guide lines. The Library does not have a date yet of when it may start opening.

Public Input: None.

With no further business at this time, Balmer moved for adjournment of the meeting at 3:15 pm seconded by Neely. All in favor, motion carried. The next regular scheduled meeting will be Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Roland Community Center
